Nice write up my friend, I had the pleasure of owning this beauty
since 1996 and really loved it (albeit the size).
It's worth mentioning that if you like the dial and find the movement too extravagant, you may wish to look at a steel version made for a Japanese retailer known as the "Chino Reverso". It had the Art Deco dial and If my memory serves me correctly, there was a YG model as well.

It always never ceases to amaze me on how they can "squeeze" so much complications into such a small watch case. On the more "down to earth" side, i am still deeply attracted by the reverso grande date w/ eight days,hope to get it one day Regards, Ken
My favorite Reverso of all, and one that I'd love to try on . . .
. . . with my wallet safely locked up ;-) . . . while I normally prefer white metals, this is one of those rare exceptions where the rose version adds a dimension of warmth that doesn't overwhelm the overall design . . . cordially, Art
