Typical JLC Geographic layout, but now with a world time complication added as well. An obvious (but no less good) complication to add. Good dimensions. No quibble with 40-42mm, even if I think 40mm is the best size (for me). The movement is a bit diminut...

42mm may be alright. I struggle at 44mm as with some other pieces. I really like the look but again seeing the black and blue dial in person will be important. Dave

on both the revolving ring and the second (small) dial? And the crown at 10 is adjusting which time zone is shown on those two indicators? I like it. Mike

I dig the dial... AP-esque smoked blue, at probably a much lower cost!! Excellent.

It is like you said uber cool. Geophysics is classic beauty but imho wwtc is more beautiful at the same price range.

GP have better case designs

Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of GP and of the WW TC, too. But I would love to see a new movement coming...

but some elements are visually just to busy for me.

Unless I'm totally off-base, in 2006, 150 of these titanium/blue accent/ruthenium dial specials were built for the Asia-Pacific market. I believe that Sincere was the sponsor and the watch was part of a multi-brand holiday season promotion. In any case, i...  

The case of the new Polaris is a huge upgrade over that older Master lug and case profile used serially throughout the line during the 2000s. As far as I can discern, the new dial color-texture tandem is a knockout. JLC finds a new way of making a blue di... 

. . . . now this. A very attractive piece with a lot of activity on the dial yet still calm and logical. Count me as 2 thumbs up. M4

The frosted blue to black with some red accents makes it very appealing to me. I never like the dial layout in the other lines but for some reason here with the outer city ring it adds up to my eyes. A WT with second time zone makes it unique in the marke... 

I like to the idea of WT & 2nd time zone ! Just that I’ve a thin wrist - 40mm would have been a perfect wear. Will see it in flesh. BTW JLC got out of gold rotor in the master controls ?! Best, Mahesh.,

when I first saw the press release I was ready to buy it... I'm not please by the "Polaris" either. Is it me who is no longer the target? the perfect size will be 39, we can see in the back the caliber is too big for the case. The GEOPHYSIC UT in a a 39 c...  

I never imagined we'd seer the caliber 936 again after the World Geographic was discontinued in the late 2000s (2009? or 2011?). The caliber 912 with alarm and world time remains available for resurrection. It was only used in the Extreme World Alarm, and...

which at 41.5mm, was pretty close, but in a Master Control case. I think the 42mm is perfect! I'm glad they moved the crown back to 3 o'clock, in stead of 4, as in the Geo World's case. I particularly like this sand grain dial. I'm expecting to see a non-... 

that is less "mature" - read: non-gradient dial. Perhaps a white or silver dial or plain black. -Dean
