new pictures of hybris mecanica
as previously described, 30 sets called hybris mecanica will be made by
JLC, each of them containing an hybris mecanica 26 (the super grande
sonnerie that will make "public appearance" at mostra in venice in
september, but also a gyrotourbillon1 and a reverso tryptique.
what I discovered is that the gyrotourbillon 1 and the reverso
tryptique will not be the version that we know but slightly modified
version.

a bit more info also on the case: it is simply the biggest gottling safe made for private use, to date.
a couple of pictures of this incredible beast.
(not too sure about the use of the handles on the side, the ones made of leather, as the entire system is likely to weigh a ton or more)

The whole idea of the watch, the entire set, and the safe is pretty amazing (and extravagant!). I hope the 30 sets of Hybris Mechanica end up going to homes with people who can truly understand and appreciate all aspects of these timepieces. Cheers, Daos
