My first intervention with JLC - Master Grande Reveil

Hi all,

this is technically my first JLC timepiece purchase - the Master Grande Reveil. when i said "technically", i was mentioning about my first impressions of my IWC Deep One which is equipped with an exclusive JLC caliber. an amazing one indeed - an the depth guage actually works and very practical.

the IWC Deep One's caliber was one of the reason that persuaded me to acquire the Grande Reveil. and of course, the main reason for the purchase was because of its combination of a perpetual calendar and an alarm or vibrate function. as you can see in the pictures, the date needs to be calibrated by JLC because its quite a bit ahead of our time.

JLC.... so far.... very pleased. the only downside is that i speculate that it won't hold its price that well. but i don't purchase timpieces and hope that it would go up in price.

the supple gator strap that came with the Grande Reveil was a bit conservative, so i opted for a more sportier look with an aftermarket carbon fibre strap.
