To be clear, the MC Memovox houses the 918 caliber.
I had an NSA (956) in my hands where setting the date was as easy as pulling a crown and turning it. You see and feel the day 'clicking' into each day as turn the crown and it moves throught the days really quickly.
You mention in your linked post that the sound of the 956 is more crysatalline and that it has a quick set of the date.
This means to me that the 918 has a slow set of the date. Can you explain what is the difference with what I noticed on the NSA?

That is very interesting because my cal. 878 manual says not to change the date between those hours because then the date change is active. I understand the 878 is a totally different calibre but still... Thanks for the info!
