Met my first original Geophysic today

I went to visit the very, very nice people in the NY JLC Boutique today to get a strap for my daughter's Reverso Lady. Ended up getting not one but two beautiful, long straps - one red, one blue.

The long strap is intended to be wrapped twice around your arm, as can be seen in this picture.

As I was waiting for the payment to go through, I noticed a new exhibition at the back of the boutique.

That was where I met my first original Geophysic. Wow!

Seeing it up close makes you realize how good a job JLC did with the Tribute.

Oh...by the way....they also showed an original 1931 red Reverso - the inspiration for the current special version of the Ultra Thin 1931. Fun to see one of the legendary ancestors live.
