love the Duo, but
I would definitely follow the collective advice and avoid a watch that has been apparently over-polished. It simply raises too many red flags.
Actually, I would avoid a watch that brings caution from so many learned members of the community - that by itself would be enough for me (even if it hadn't been over polished).

The Duo is a wonderful watch but if no box/paper and case back over polished… Something does not add up, IMO. I would rather pay some more and get a watch I am confident with. Best Blomman

I will stay away from the Duo as advices by the more experienced experts. The last thing i want is to feel shortchanged after purchasing something. I guess the Duo will just have to wait. I am off to the Boutique now. Update you guys later
I'm a bit biased...
I would go for the Reverso 1931 over the Master Chrono. I would also keep your eyes out for a better example of the Duo. The old model Duo (with the recessed pusher) is such a great watch....
