It uses a double A battery. Even though it doesn’t have a second hand but it still ticks every second and can be heard in a silent room.

It is a dealer clock. It’s huge and is pretty heavy.
Don’t ask me how some got onto eBay, which is where I got mine from. There is another version in bronze colour which I briefly owned. Let me take some pics when I get back to the office. Best, David

The case, dial and the case back are all metal.
and the front of the clock is made of glass, as a result the whole clock weighs 7kg. Best, David

The back is just a small quartz module made in Germany.
And yes! It can be noisy. That’s why I have it in the office instead of my bedroom. Best, David
