JLC post SIHH 2013 event in Singapore
finally... finally...
some of the SIHH collection has arrived to Singapore. the well-attended viewing event was held in Marina Bay Sand JLC Boutique this evening. the two Jubilee watches, namely MGT Tourbillon Cylindrique a Quantieme Perpetual and MUT 1833, and MUT Perpetual and many other watches were allowed us for viewing and trying on our wrist at the event. among these beautiful watches, most appealing one to me of course was MUT Perpetual. it is in 39mm and thin case, the dial is clean and perpetual calendar is easily to read. all calendar functions can be easily adjusted by forwarding the crown. the all these functions including time will stop when pulling out the crown. a push button at 7 o'clock also allows us for quick date adjustment. as you known, for this MUT Perpetual has three variants, i.e. SS, RG and WG. however, SS version has not reached to Singapore for viewing at this event. only both WG and RG are available here this evening, but both of them are still a prototype, the actual watches will be delivering as early as around middle of the year. at the event, heard of lot of encouraging comments on this Perpetual. one of my friends has straight away placed the order. i had a chance to try it on my wrist, it gave me a very nice feeling when seeing it on my wrist. the most impressive thing from this watch is the size and dial. will take a closer look when the SS version reaches to Singapore later. anyway, took pics for some watches in the Boutique too. hope you like it. stefan ps: sorry for not being able to take pics for MUT 1833 as it is really hot, which was being circulated from one people hand to another people hand, have not managed to see it when i left from the event :-(

A pity you couldn't see the MUT 39 Jubilé!
This is, in my opinion, the hottest watch this year, from JLC, along with the MUT 39 Perpetual and the... Duometre UTT. Thanks for the report, Stefan! Best, Nicolas

Interestingly, almost everyone was more interested in the platinum MUT 39 than the Tourbillon Cylindrique. Haha! I guess most could see that as something more "wearable". The Master Perpetual was tried on more than everything at the boutique, and it does ...
