JLC Diving GMT feedback sought
Hello All,
This is my first post here, but I've enjoyed reading past threads and searching the archives.
I'm a recent JLC convert and have to say that every time I go looking for something new I inevitably zero in on a JLC. I guess I'm hooked....
Lately I find myself considering the 44mm version of the Compressor Diving GMT watch and I'm having trouble making up my mind. Hopefully someone here can help.
I have located a version on the articulated rubber bracelet as well as one on the Ti bracelet and I simply can't decide between the two. Unfortunately, the seller is out of state and I have no way to compare the two on my wrist. I've searched through the archives here and found a number of old posts addressing this topic and it seems that the consensus is that the articulated rubber bracelet is more unique and will likely keep the watch from getting lost in a sea of all-metal tool watches, but it does sacrifice some versatility in being more difficult to dress up.
Can anyone comment how well the articulating rubber bracelet fits into more professional dress? I wear a suit 5 days a week (by choice) in an extremely laid-back environment. Although I know that I can get away with wearing any watch (it's good to be the boss... sometimes) I don't want it to look ridiculous.
Also, can anyone comment on the durability of the rubber bracelet vs. the titanium?
Currently I'm rotating through the following watches:
JLC Master Compressor Geographic on brown gator
Panerai PAM00347 (Luminor Marina 1950 GMT w/ Power Reserve on SS bracelet or black gator strap)
GO Panomatic Lunar XL
Muhle Glashutte bg 29er (black) on black calf or black rubber
Sorry for such an open-ended question, but I'm 50/50 with this decision at this point and am looking for some feedback.
Thanks!
