I guess that my answer may differ...
as I much prefer any metal to rubber (including articulating rubber). And in addition we are talking Ti5 bracelet which is a lot more scratch resistant that Ti2.
I wear my Navy Seal Alarm with a Ti bracelet and it looks chic, it is light and will always be more durable than rubber. Plus I never had a fit problem since you have tha capacity to adjust a few millimiter extra with the clasp.
You were referring to that "sea of metal bracelet". Keep in mind that not too many people have a full titanium timepiece and that titanium has that distinct color which separates from the pack.
In conclusion: For me it is Ti all the way!!

I own 2 JLCs on articulated rubber and I LOVE(!!!) the material. Any scuffs rub out with my thumb, it's black so in low light (formal affairs) it looks great - even though it's not croc. I have the Chrono Diver and the Navy Seals. At 44mm, the Chrono Dive...
