Jaeger Lecoultre Polaris Memovox, Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm and Navy SEALs Alarm: Jaeger Lecoultre DNA.

Some key elements are shared here, which clearly show the DNA of the brand.

The NAVY SEALs Alarm:

The Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm:

And the Polaris Memovox 50th Anniversary.

There is clearly a style, which doesn't make them look like diving watches from other brands.

A style borrowed, or in the case of the Navy SEALs Alarm, revisited, to watches from the late Fifties and Sixties.

The funny thing is that the Navy SEALs Alarm ca be seen as the child of a Polaris and a Deep Sea Alarm.

The TT Deep Sea Alarm is a very faithful re edition of the E 857, and the Polaris Memovox 50th Anniversary as a modernized Polaris. Less faithful than the Tribute to Polaris 1968, but more modern.

Three different expressions, but all of them share that clear horological membership.

Best,

Nicolas

.. Somehow the NSA series has always been escaping my attention, in part because of its strong appeal, more beater than saloon, ( size also might have been a factor - ?) But meanwhile I sort of changed my mind, the macho element is a quite civilized versi...
