Jaeger Lecoultre Master Mariner Deep Sea E 558: 12 years of love.

May 26, 2020,03:44 AM

One of the very first pictures I took of the E 558 Master Mariner Deep Sea.

As its case back shows it, this watch was first produced from 1967 to 1972, in 1532 pieces.

From the catalogs, we learn that the Deep Sea  had different names: Diving Watch, Plongeur, Skin Diver and Barracuda.

You can also admire its two big crowns, typical from the super compressor cases, which is 37 mm big, here ( 36 x 37 mm ).

Macho, sensuous, cool looking, this Deep Sea deserves better than just living in the shadow of its two prestigious sisters, the Polaris and the Deep Sea Alarm.

Best,

Nicolas
