Jaeger Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm E 857.
There are few opportunities to see one for sale. This one was sold some months ago, by Bulang and Son.
I meant the European version, like the one pictured above. I could see a bit more than 30 US for sale in these last 12 years, but way less than 10 in the same period.
An extraordinary watch. Here, with the correct bezel and, it seems, crowns.
Always a pleasure to see one, even though I own one.

For an outstanding design. What a brilliant watch. The design has held up very well over the intervening decades.
