We are used ( and spoiled ) to see the Amvox II quite often. But much more rarely the Amvox 5.
A cool watch, it certainly is, with its typical design and the combination of a world time and a chronograph.
But I think they missed a fantastic opportunity... While the Amvox II has a vertical pivoting case used like a chrono pusher, it would be fantastic to have an additional horizontal pivoting case for the World Time.
We would have had not only a cool watch, but a greatissime one.

Nico, do you know if there was a technical reason why they couldn’t use the pivoting Chronograph case when combined with the world time?
I like the look of the Amvox 5 but the lack of the pivoting case put me off. It just seems less unique to me . If I was going to get another Amvox it would be the Amvox 3, where the lack of a pivoting case is less relevant (although using a pivoting case ...
No technical reason since they used the horizontal pivoting case to open and close the window of the Aston Martin Car. A pity, as it would have been a terrific watch, I totallu agree with you.
As well as your thought on the Amvox III. I was almost on to pull the trigger on that one, but I had to buy, once again, a Duometre to replace the one which was stolen to me... ...

if that had been the case, I would have considered getting the 5 instead of the 2.... Curious choice.... Cheers, Filip
