It may sound funny, but I originally
even had the steel version with the matte blue dial in mind, because I thought it would be more wearable in daily and business use than this red gold version.
But once I saw the two watches side by side - and especially once I had them both on the wrist - there was no question anymore. For me the red gold version was simply far more powerful and beautiful.
Once again, proof that a watch must always be tried on the wrist. A final judgement based on photos on the internet or in a catalogue is simply not possible.
I like the back of this magnificent piece just as much as the front.
I do have to admit, though, that I can only read the chronograph here with my glasses on. Beauty over functionality. But that doesn’t diminish my love for it one bit! The front, on the other hand, is fantastically legible. Clear, powerful, elegant. HAGWE,...

I bought this beautiful Reverso in December 2024
for a special occasion. So it’s already just over a year old. I must admit, with the acquisition madness I’ve indulged in over the past few years, it’s easy to lose track sometimes. LOLLLL On the back, I had a very personal engraving made.
