And yet it would be easy to experiment with different hands during the design or prototyping process. I wonder why we end up with these "what if" watches that seem so close but for the hands. About this watch, I like everything except the hands.
I think that for a perpetual calendar, an open dial or skeletonized version like this is usually the way to go. Otherwise, the view through the caseback is often not any more compelling for the additional complication.
