in house movement question
please excuse my ignorance, but does JLC make their own movement? i am debating between JLC master compressor dualmatic, UN marine diver and blancpain 50 fathoms.
what is the benefit of watchmakers making their own movement? do all of the above companies make their own? does it make the watch more valuable?
also, blancpain is owned by swatch group. who does own UN and JLC? is there a benefit of buying a brand that is a small indpependent brand as opposed to a big group of brands?
