I'm going to check with my local guy first. If he thinks he can get the finnish right I'll probably go with him. My primary motivation against sending it to JLC is knowing that it would be gone for a year (or more). I bought it because I want to wear it and that would be a long time to wait before I could enjoy it.

I'm just not sure how this bodes for the rest of the year. I suppose I'm lucky that the Reverso Repetition Minutes that I saw listed by a local dealer was already sold by the time I contacted him. It gives me something to wait for : )

and I can relate to your dilemma. Sending it to MJLC would mean parting from it for a long time (well over one year I suspect) and replacing the crown and tropic can be done by a skilled watchmaker. Cheers, Asi

I have to admit that I'm leaning towards sending it off to JLC for the full spa treatment. While I understand the argument for leaving it unrestored, I must admit that photos like this one from JLC's One Magazine make me want it back to its' original glor...

I've had a chance to handle a couple of these and it is a wonderful watch. I especially like it on the bracelet.
