I agree with you about the Master Mariner's character. Its' charms more than make up for its' somewhat diminutive size.

I'm just not sure how this bodes for the rest of the year. I suppose I'm lucky that the Reverso Repetition Minutes that I saw listed by a local dealer was already sold by the time I contacted him. It gives me something to wait for : )

Hi, Congratulations for your catch. It may be the less sought after of the three, but it's a gorgeous watch to wear and generally still a bargain in the vintage world. I have one that I've hesitated a lot to keep as it has a repainted red central hand but... 

I think it's a keeper! If you send it off to JLC you'll have to post some pictures when it comes back.

and I can relate to your dilemma. Sending it to MJLC would mean parting from it for a long time (well over one year I suspect) and replacing the crown and tropic can be done by a skilled watchmaker. Cheers, Asi

I have to admit that I'm leaning towards sending it off to JLC for the full spa treatment. While I understand the argument for leaving it unrestored, I must admit that photos like this one from JLC's One Magazine make me want it back to its' original glor...

I've had a chance to handle a couple of these and it is a wonderful watch. I especially like it on the bracelet.

I have to agree. While it looks great on a strap, I think it is fantastic on a bracelet.
