I get your point.
I often have the feeling they are drifting a bit left to right.
I find it difficult to describe the brand in max 3 words (
as I learned from the company that I had engaged twice for re-branding and brand Definition and communication, if you can express a brand in 2-3 words in such a way that everybody knows what they do, then you’ve got it right.
Simple examples can be found in automobile branch
Opel: wir lieben Autos
Audi: Vorsprung durch Technik
Range Rover: Screw CO2 reduction
And so on

They seem to have lost their way completely post-Jerome Lambert’s departure (imho). JLC used to be my favourite Maison but it has been impossible to be excited about them at all in the last 5 years

Fantastic atelier with enormous history with little leadership after Lambert left. A big waste of legacy. It shows in the lack of demand for its watches generally. Pity.
