Good question.

 

I think that there are actually more choices, but I may be wrong.

1) Obviously,the metals.

2) Two different bezels for the red version, smooth or with ridges

3) Did the early red versions have a darker look on the movement? I have seen versions where the movement was darker and the two subdials had different shades of greay/silver too. Again, I may be wrong as it could have been a trick of the light.

I actually like the ‘ridged’ bezel the most while some days wishing that the red color on the mode-selector was easier to read. The blue might be better for that 🤷🏼‍♂️

No matter what, I am still very happy with the red one that I now own.

On a day you can wear your dream JLC. My dream is over, i am satisfied. Maybe two are still adorable, a Piaget Altiplano ref 13477 and a Altiplano ultra thin, the thinest watch on earth, the blue dial. And,and… a big Bovet 19 Thirty. The Piaget Altiplano ...
