From my limited experience
At the present time, I have three different JLC watches.
I think the straps are very nice - both the leather ones and the rubber ones. The bracelets are among the best made. However, I would prefer a push-button deployant clasp to the current friction-fit models. Although the current clasp is certainly functional. Personally, I do not like tang buckles, but they should be available as an option for those who do.

I don't find it aesthetically very nice, first. Then, it is always a pain when you close the double folding buckle once on your wrist. I preferred the simple folding buckle from the beginning of the year 2000, for example. Best, nicolas
I agree..

I agree, the folding JLC deployant doesn't feel nearly as comfy as a simple buckle. After wearing a custom made strap with a sewn in simple buckle for weeks now , I truly believe this 100%. The strap feels like something that should have come with the JLC...
I agree (I think)

Although I like the double folding clasp and I find it perfectly comfortable, I have occasionally thought it looks clunky - like too much metalwork for such a svelte watch. I'd be interested to see pics of your MUT when the buckle arrives, Dave. Best, J.
