First Post/First JLC

What a great post. I have been looking for that perfect casual/sport chrono for about a year and when I first saw the 1000M Chrono I knew that the search was over. I was ready to purchase a Panerai PAM 196 but it did not appeal to me on my wrist. I looked at the new Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and others. I currently own Rolex,  IWC, Patek and other brands and this is my first JLC. I own the Chrono with rubber bracelet for about three weeks now and I have not taken it off even if I had to wear it with a suit for business I like it that much.

If you go into any dealer they will tell you that this is a hot watch. I agree that this watch can compete with the AP Chrono and others with respect to design, style, quality. My first choice was the titatium bracelet but the only one available was the rubber braclet. I am not disappointed  as it works well on the weekends, in the water as well as the office. If you look at Panerai, AP, Patek, rubber bracelets are standard for many models.

The overall design and the way it looks on the wrist is addicting. I think the look is modern with a classic influence. Great addition to the Master Compressor line.
