Wishing you many more years of married happiness!
On the watch, I think it’s a beautiful piece, and even if I didn’t you have your priorities straight—if she likes it, that’s all that matters, period. I had a similar situation when I bought my wife an Hermès Cape Cod watch. The WIS in me wished the movement was mechanical (she has the small version that only comes in quartz), but my wife doesn’t care about that, so I happily bought it for her. She wears it proudly and regularly, and the movement isn’t remotely a factor.
Cheers to you and wife!
