.. that there was a LeCoultre Master Mariner Chronograph (!) as well in the catalog, - I wonder, whether this was only by LC and hence, more for the US, or if there also was a European (J)LC counterpiece for this Chronograph ? Other than that, I truly lov... 

When Blomman posted this US ad of the E 857, too.... A European counterpart? Well, we both have some, my friend. Another ineresting and passionate discussion is to try to guess which would be the 3, 4 or 5 Kings, in a Vintage JLC collection. That would be... 

.. not that easy to define the - let's say 5 Kings : I am fully with your Choices; maybe one could extend it - to The Glorious Seven: and then include one classical (or modern ?) Reverso and maybe a Duomètre (?) Many thanks and Best, hs

A beautiful set of morning watch photos, and a charming set of black dials on white metal (my favorite!). I do think the E857 is the Deepsea, and the Polaris is the 859, but it makes no difference in the appeal of these images! Best, Tim
