As per a special request, a photo of the Jaeger Lecoultre Master Ultra Thin Flying Tourbillon Minute Repeater Hybris Mechanica 11.

Or two, as the front is as nice as the back side. For me, this HM 11 achieves three challenges: - A thin automatic movement, - A minute repeater which sounds very well, - A superb automatic movement. Best, Nicolas ...

A sublime watch Nicolas.

Gets boring to say, but imagine the attention this would get if it were a Patek...

Sublime - with that circular rotor and 550 parts, all in ~7.4mm....that is very impressive. Not yet a Piaget Altiplano but at least it has a sonnerie and is automatic!

Yes, impressive is the right word. A coup de maitre.

Yes, that's a nice detail. Now I would have preferred a tourbillon on the back.

I had a chance to play with this piece when it was released, really stunning!
By: als1678 : November 13th, 2020-04:51
Unfortunately it was a prototype and the repeater was not fully functional. Have you had a chance to see a production piece? How does it sound?

This one is a definitive watch, not the proto. You are right, the proto didn't amaze me in terms of acoustics. The definitive sounds much better.

As it is the case for many of us. Still, I prefer the Gyrotourbillon One, which moves me much more.

I have never seen this before. Is this an annual calendar as well?

Awesome watch although I would have preferred a manual wound movement but the peripheral rotor was a nice touch 👍

For once, I am happy with the automatic movement ( and that is rare enough to be mentioned ).
