Deconstructed Amvox 2
I came across these photos on the Facebook page of Alexander James Horological Services, who are an independent watch servicing company here in the UK. I have never used their services and I have no affiliation with them, I just found their pictures interesting because I don’t think I have seen shots of the Amvox 2 movement before. To my untrained eye, the movement looks more nicely decorated than I was expecting.
It’s a shame they did not have any pictures of the deconstructed Amvox 2 case, given how unusual the case construction is.
I really like the grey/silver/red colour scheme of this platinum variant of the original Amvox 2. I might have to save up for one!
