Of course, I am not referring to the new Duo but rather the old; the new is a tragedy. This Extreme, on the other hand, is a remarkable piece. Congratulations!

Too bad about the 2nd gen duometres - a fail in its current pricing and iterations. I’m actively looking for a 1st gen black dial WG version.

The Extreme Lab 2 has a very loyal following here. I remember lusting after it a few years back and was able to make it a reality as well. Killer watch by all accounts! Love your version wiht the blacked out movement. Wear in good health! JLC EL2 ...  

Interestingly, I believe the black bridges were the “first” version and the anthracite bridges were the “second” version. However my serial is 200/200! I wonder if they weren’t cased in sequential order.

You are correct the black bridges came first. Mine was also black. But when I went to get it serviced by JLC the changed the whole movement and I got the lighter dial. After some back and forth they said they could service the black but could not give any...
