The interesting thing with these 2 versions is that they both share the same dial, but offer a different spirit, due to the metal of the case. While the Titanium looks like a concept watch, with its unusual titanium case, slightly dark, and its open dial,...  

I prefer the "look" of the rose gold because the rose hands give the watch better legibility, and I'm a sucker for JLC's blend of rose. Even though the gong is welded to the crystal, the crystal IS attached to the case, so I imagine sound travels through ... 

Then, it depends on everyone's taste... Classic or concept watch, in both cases, they are devilishly tempting... Thanks for your input, Dean, and Best! Nicolas

But I strongly prefer the Ti, as it seems more "in tune", harmonizing with the open-work face. If I won the lottery, this would be high on my list of wants.

Such a modern open dial on a RG watch is really audacious. But the outcome is really appealing, in my opinion. The Titanium is colder, and that amy be the reason why I prefer it, too. Once again, personal tastes... Best, Nicolas

I would gladly accept either version (take note PuristS -- I am giving you my Christmas list early), but I prefer the titanium because it is the original and because, as you noted, it suits the identity of the watch as a concept piece. It is so original i... 

But I learnt to appreciate the RG MMR, not at the point ot change my Ti for the RG version, though. Aesthetically, but not only... Because I loved a lot to see such a traditional complication treated this way... Young, and refreshing! Best, my friend. Nic... 

Both of them are just as gorgeous and one cannot go wrong with either. The Ti version is more causual while the RG is more formal to wear. The Ti version goes well with both T-shirts and dress shrits. I also like the Ti case which matches better with the ... 

which offers a polished titanium case. I will have to think about it, but the JLC MMR may be the only one... My guess is that the polished titanium is harder to work than a brushed one. Though you still have this slightly dark color, but it was a surprise... 

Is there a difference in the sound quality, tone or volume? Personally I like the titanium, but the gold hands seem to be easier to read against the essentially grey and silver movement. They are both an interesting contrast. Thanks for the images. Andrew

I'd say that it depends on the watch, not only on the metal. The platinum is matter, the titanium is louder, and I would say that the RG is a kind of compromise between the Pt and the Ti... As for the quality of the sound, the richness, I was lvery impres...

The TI would definitely be my choice! I really love the warmth of the RG, and the weight – but if I had to choose, the TI version is more usable IMO! Best, my friend Blomman

When I decided to go for my MMR Ti, the RG version didn't exist, as we were in July 2007. Even now that both exist ( well, the Ti is discontinued, as it seems that the whole 200 pieces were spoken for ), I would make the same choice. The polished titanium...
