They have a very extensive and accurate archives, you'd have to provide both case number and movement number for them to check in the archives (I checked with my first Vacheron and Constantin) if both serial number and case number match then it brings bac...
You send them the case and movement number, plus the reference of the watch, and they tell you what year it was made, in a certificate. Now, not many more information. And you have to pay for that. For Lecoultre watches, it doesn't work. Only for Jaeger L...
