As a researcher by trade, I would be floored if they dared to inspire like this watch again!
I've often told people from personal experience that research is like being lost in a desert, parched and desperate for water in the relentless heat. Often times, you'd see what you think is water in the distance but by the time you get there, it is a mirage and you end up with a mouthful of sand. But every once in a while, you arrive at a sparkling oasis, which is heavenly to taste and rejuvenating a stark reminder of being alive.
I hope JLC, under new management, continues its daring adventures and push the envelope to new heights (and find new bodies of water for us to enjoy)!

A rare minute repeater from big brands that feels contemporary and original. This, and the EL, are my 2 favorite JLC. Ken
That's the big point with that watch, a modern vision of a traditional complication. Add the 15 days power reserve and the torquemeter, and you have a crazy piece.

Love it when big brands use their resources in R&D and offer us something refreshing, like this example here. While the simple pieces may be their bread and butter, they need HH for us to aspire to be their collectors.

They're beautiful pieces that I admire (the black dial wg case chronograph is the standout for me), but don't quite feel the urge to own one yet. Thanks for the nice suggestion as always. Ken
