Agreed. But for me, I always associate the MUT with the Cal 849.

This or that?

Recently I have the opportunity to upsize my RG JLC from 35 mm to 37 or 38.5 mm. My wrist is 6.5 inches, and having tried on both before, they will fit well. Probably the 37 is the sweet spot. The 37 mm option has that stunning pop of blue in the sweeping...

That one without date 👍

I am partial to the old model. The one thing which one might disagree with is the "automatique" on the dial, which feels superfluous. Personally, I didn't mind it though.

That's my point. ;)

I usually go no-date...

The other consideration is the gorgeous sunburst dial my 35 mm has. Perhaps I will miss that feature if I go for the 38.5 mm, which in the details, is more of an “eggshell white” with a matte finish. I imagine the size of the 38.5 mm will be a touch more ...

Such are the dilemmas…

Of a WIS… 😂 Thanks again everyone! Somehow I feel I can’t really go wrong with either. As of this moment, I’m leaning towards the 38.5 mm no date

Personally

On a small wrist, I'd stick with the 35mm!
