2nd JLC Purchase: EWC vs. EWA
Hello All - I am thinking about my second JLC watch (the first was a MCC which I sold after a year) and have to decide between the EWC and EWA (I had the IWC BP in the equation but have dropped it since I currently own a 7 Days Portugese). I understand the EWA is a recent addition to the Compressor series and both are at a similar price point (the EWA perhaps cheaper according to my local AD). I have been searching the various fora including here and timezone but have not seen much on the EWA presumable because it is new. Having said that my initial assessment is the EWA has not generated a lot of interest among enthusiasts unlike the EWC when it was launched in 2004/2005. I would interested to hear your thoughts/comparisons of the two watches. I understand both have different movements but share the patented shock absorption system and the fast strap change mechanism. Also, is the EWC 46.3 mm in diameter like the EWA or smaller/bigger? Any pics of either/both will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
