Hi Tony,

 

the Master Reveil was produced from 1995 to 2005. The stainless steel version on leather strap
was sold for about 3.700 EUR in 1995 and 5.400 EUR in 2005.

The watch has a diameter of about 38.5 mm and was equipped with calibre 918. That calibre
was developed by Eric Coudray from the 1969 cal 916 and now incorporated the famous hanging
gong for the alarm and an 22k gold sector on the outside of the rotor (which is missing for
whatsoever reason in the MC Memovox and Amvox1).
Cal 918 is lacking a fast date change mechanism but you can reset the date by turning the hands
back and forth between 10 pm and 2 am so that is nothing that should allure you from buying a
Master Reveil.

A very good, very well crafted, relyable and classic watch in my eyes.

I've been searching for a Master Reveil (in steel) for a while and have had a difficult time finding one. I don't know a lot about this model, so am hoping a few of you who do can educate me a bit. I believe it was discontinued 3 years ago or so. Why? Was...

Hi Tony, I regret but I won't help you find a Master Reveil as I've not seen any for years. But I suppose you may find one used if not new. In the meantime I must add that the Memovox/Reveil function is a very nice complication to live with as you can act...
