Very lovely, and a small regret
Andrew, the white dial Mark XV looks very special. Actually I once passed on a chance to buy a brand new one from an AD soon after it had been discontinued. I still remember that missed opportunity sometimes..
Very best wishes,

Dear Purists, Sometimes it feels like the IWC pilots don't get much attention, so I thought I'd share mine. It's now five years old, and has run flawlessly. Currently gains 3 secs during the day but can be made to run perfectly to time by placing crown ri...

... bracelet I have ever come across. Slinky, flexible, smooth and so comfortable to wear. The watch itself is about 12 years old. And my favourite feature is the blued seconds hand (hard to capture in photos) against the white dial. And like yours, it ke...
I wouldn't dwell on it ...

You have a very nice Mark XV Spitfire. While the white dial is less common and perhaps a little more dressy, the black dial is more traditional and ultimately more legible, as a pilots watch should be. Perhaps you can find a white dialled XV as a companio...
