How much do I like the IWC Ingenieur 866 "Military"? I tell you: a looooooot! Why? Well, first.....
..... they are super nice with the pilot inspired dial ...... second, the IWC Ingenieur 866 is in itself a super rare and valuable watch with a great movement ....... it is being said that only 6 to 12 of these prototype like 866 "military" versions were ...

And I have to say I am truly impressed with IWC having had a representative in Angola in 1971!

What kind of luminous material from the 1970s could have remained white for over 40 years? Or are the dial and hands later replacements. I am curious. Regards, Tony C.
