How much do I like the IWC Ingenieur 866 "Military"? I tell you: a looooooot! Why? Well, first.....
..... they are super nice with the pilot inspired dial
...... second, the IWC Ingenieur 866 is in itself a super rare and valuable watch with a great movement
....... it is being said that only 6 to 12 of these prototype like 866 "military" versions were made
The one you see here was delivered - according to the IWC archives - on November 10, 1971 to the then IWC representative in Angola.

And I have to say I am truly impressed with IWC having had a representative in Angola in 1971!
