Tuesday pictures - IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun Miramar 3890

Team,

Since the last four years I'm focusing on three brands that I like for different reasons (IWC, JLC and Omega - Alphabetic order).

My love for IWC watches is hard to explain because is a mixture of history and design.

Because of that, here's the watch that I was wearing today:

The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun Miramar 3890 was released this year at SIHH (yes, I was there) and it was a love on the first sign.

It seems that IWC measured my wrist and this watch, with a case that has bold 44mm, fits my wrist perfectly.

Amazing dial, high legible as any pilot's watch, a beauty (IMHO).

The high polished ceramic case, shows .... Quality and ... power!

Here's it on my wrist. Perfect.

To end the photo series, another B&W attempt.

Some information about this watch:

Case: 44mm Ceramic.
Movement: Movement: IWC in house 89361, automatic, 68h reserve, 28.800 BPH, running seconds, date, chronograph, fly back.

The movement is very accurate and sturdy by my experience with other IWC that uses this movement.

Comment about the strap:

This watch originally comes with a green calfskin strap that mimics canvas. So far so good.
The bad part is the deployment buckle that follows the classic "torture chamber" design, common to all deployment buckles from IWC.

I immediately replaced the strap by a custom made one, made by my local artisan. Could not be more happy with my choice.

Thanks for seeing.

Cheers,

Nilo
