The date aperture ...

Hi Kong,

I am wearing a Mark XV as I type this and I didn't realise that the dial comprised part of the antimagnetic cage.  I wonder if the date aperture compromises the antimagnetic characteristics of the watch in any way?

Great and very informative post. Never realized that the alloy cage is that thick ! Interesting observation on the dial and cage interface too.
