IWC

There are some, maybe a majority, that think the 5002-01 is the standard setter for the Big Pilot model range over the years, what do you think? I think so... Thanks to our wonderful IWC moderator, India Whiskey Charlie, for providing this link on another...  

Once upon a time I had the 5002. I loved it for many years then sold it as the size and weight was a little too much for me. A couple years later I jumped back into the game with a Titanium. The Ti makes a huge difference comfort wise over the steel, and ...  

Which is more my taste, But it is a real beast and a tempting one! Best, Nicolas ...  

I doesn’t really get worn as my interests have moved on but I feel it is the iconic one without belittling the other iterations.

This is my favourite by far. I will think about it if I start classes for my bomber licence some day

My only wish was they could have made it more like the original B-Uhr from 1940... ...

IWC needs serious reform when it comes to their model lineup. ...  

Meanwhile, I think it should be titanium with a black dial and white numbers and indices. No yellow lume and no brown dial.

I love my 5002 and my wife does too. I like the slow beat, patina date window, fish crown, buffalo strap, and jangly rotor noises. I also have a BP Miramar which I think is an interesting departure from the original and I enjoy for more rugged activities....

Both beautiful and great choices and I would buy either if I didn't already have the 5002. Go for it and please post pictures.
