PR indicator on an automatic watch is pointless but I totally get it on manual wound watches.

That said, I always wind my manuals every morning even if the have a PR of more than 48 hours.

The automatic ruins the clean dial. (Besides I never understood why automatic is written on so many dials)

I would agree but leave it empty and you've go a huge blank space that doesn't look good. Similar to the AP RO 15500, there is nothing there and it doesn't look good and just accentuates how big it is. If this watch was 36mm instead of 43mm it wouldn't be...

I doubt anyone complained back the 40s. Those had to be big and legible for a reason and were worn around a flightsuit. Those were actual tool watches. The current IWC not so much.

Waiting for the larger diameter, no date version, no magnetic case (thinner) and manual wind. I can live with a PR. It has to be manual, so you can touch that nice crown as frequent as possible. Current 46mm BP is like a hockey puck, I tried it in a local...

IWC is doing sooo many things right at the moment! The new pilot watches look great, have good case sizes, excellent bracelets, fantastic dial colors and in-house movements without exploding in price. After the iconic Portuguese line was updated last year...
