Hi all, To my knowledge, I only know today three contenders to the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk which has been released in 2009. I mean by “contender” a watch which offers a digital display with jumping hours and minutes. For the record, the Zeitwerk “entry-...
It's size should be absolutely fine for me, comparing to my JLC Duometre chrono. Lange Zeitwerk: diameter 41.9mm, thickness 12.6mm Duometre chrono: diameter 42mm, thickness 13.6mm May I should start working on getting a Zeitwerk in WG with black dial...
The VII is as you state much more elegant in proportions. BUT this, and perhaps the RG case and case shape, make the watch a little more dressy the result is that it's not an everyday watch like the ZW could be. Btw, there are 10 more VII's than you think...
Regarding the Vagabondage II, I always found this timepiece crazy with its shape, style, complication... I really love it and, if one day I have the possibility to buy one I will. Best wishes Alkiro

The gap between them kills the watch for me - I think that the way the Glashutte date wheel works would have been the best looking solution and would have added so much more to this watch.
Like you i like jumping hour and minutes display . Your Zeitwerk is on top of my list of best looking one . A nice second place is for the FPJ . I love that case shape and fact that its a jumping seconds also . The DeWitt is a nice watch but it dosnt do i...
The third iteration of the Vagabondage has a jumping second. Not the two here. I saw these two watches in real and I definitely prefer the style/layout dial of the II. My main issue with the three is how this jumping second system will evolve with time. J...
know hz to take watch with out of this world background pic. This digital display of time reminds me of one ballwatch, the secometer. Attached pic from internet as reference. I recalled there are other reputable bands that tell time in digital format in a...
Of course, you already know my favorite...ZW! The balance of the dial anchored by the bridge is a marvel. The mechanical prowess of the watch speaks for itself! The Journe is nothing to sneeze at, but the Vagabondage II doesn’t do it for my eye. It remind...
... but it does not have the class of the zeitwerk. Very nice first picture Alkiro! Thanks for presenting these three models, the IWC is rather nice, and a good effort for a brand that does not usually do such complication. Best, É.
Humm, to be honest with you, the FPJ is truly nice and has the advantage to be the most wearable (especially compared to the Zeitwerk). Of course it’s a matter of taste but I really would like to own one. BUT, I won’t trade or sell my Zeitwerk for this FP...
