IWC Pilot Aéronavale edition
Hello all,
Has anyone ever seen this watch? It seems to be a special edition for the French Navy Pilots (Aéronavale in French). Photo was taken on the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, the only aircraft carrier of the French forces. You can recognise Dassauly Rafale aiplanes in the background.
I find the limited edition very nice, rather subtle and well balanced!
Anyone knows if it can be purchased? I would love one!

Based purely on looks, I'd choose the SS Spitfire.

In an even worse position (away from 3 o'clock) on the black model? That's because the SS is 39 vs. 41 for the black.

I think I've read or heard from someone that you can only order these if you belong to a/this certain squadron. Not everyone chooses to order one either. So I doubt an outsider could get one.
