IWC Deep One. A good one from the Past.
When it was released at the end of the 90's, it was a legend, a myth, a strange rare bird.
The mechanical depth gauge in a wrist watch was an innovation in the mid 60's ( Nivada Grenchen and Favre Leuba ) and then disappeared for some 30 years. The Deep One is a modern come back, then.
That was a hot piece.
And a strong character.

The brand was mainly “Engineered for Men” 😜✌️ The Deep One is a great watch! I really missed the sandblasted titanium aquatimer, which IMO was the undisputed “tool watch” back then before Sinn.
I'm sorry to say this generation of IWC Aquatimers never appealed to me

Wearing it today. Took me a while to find the rubber strap. It was never offered for Deep One, but the strap from Aquatimer ref. 3536 fits perfectly. MrkK ...
