The Jumbo ref.1832 was launched in 1976. And this 3506 model only came later. And yes this graph paper dial is both beautiful and completely suited for an ingenieur watch.

I almost bought one a few years ago, but was too indecisive and finally missed it!

Still with me. Recently serviced. Ready for daily duty… ...  

And it was 4 years ago. Got it serviced last year. The watchmaker who serviced it told me that it was in perfect condition inside. He just cleaned and oiled the movement.

I couldn't be more happy for you! The only thing you have to do is to give this beauty good wrist time (if you wish to, of course)!
