Hello friends, I just received an IWC Pallweber wrist watch I
Wanted to share with you. I bought the blue dial SS one about 3 years ago but have always wanted the 5N rose gold version. This one was a Sotheby's auction so I probably did not get the very best deal when you consider the buyers premium but I am happy to have it. The history of this “pocket watch” dating back to the late 1800’s is a tribute to watch innovation and invention that has been copied by ALS and many others but this is where it began. Of course there is a fabulously improved movement with 60 hours of power reserve and the dial is Lacquer which should last hundreds of years. I simply love it…Jim

Absolutely beautiful and different watch!
As I have grown older, I have started focusing less on the “very best deal” to the quality of the underlying item and whether I want it badly enough to pay the price - I think on that criteria you have a winner!

To me it is a statement or conversation piece with an interesting history of the first digital watch ever made, and I love the dial retro look…Jim
