I've owned more IWCs over the years than any other brand. Have two currently: air and sea but no land. And it may be hard for me to stop myself from adding another Portuguese one of these days...

I always wondered but I don't think I ever found it, why did they redesign the ingenieur? I honestly don't get it. It was a unique looking watch and they turned it into something so bland and generic.
Me too. Dumbfounded. Everybody else was copying Genta
And IWC redesigned their actual Genta design to something else.

The original Ingenieur Design was an integral component of the notable 'Genta Trio'. (amongst other Genta designs>>>)
