Do not get me wrong, i want only respond to your emotional post.
I understand your point and how Patrick put his thoughts and point about the IWC Ingenieur.
Patrick is a polite guy with an enormous passion for watches.
I think we all can make wrong analyzes from time to time.
Myself, i do not follow others which brands they buy, i buy.
So much brands and watches, it is easy to collect very individual.
It sounds odd, i do not look also on the price tag, but my taste is not that expensive
that i need a 90K F.P. Journe. I sit around a 2K, many good watches at that price point.
I have a weak spot for BM, and a member of WPS where watch brands been spoken that are far more exclusive and expensive than BM.
I can imagine that Oris fans will be feel a bit alone here and think that they count for full when they come up with a Rolex.
But dear Koozy, WPS is as you know not only a place for fancy watches, so every IWC is welcome.
I like all forgotten and underdog things, people, everything.
If a lonely watch lay in a drawer, i will pick it out the drawer, hand it over to a watch maker.
When it ticks, it makes me happy. After it, i will admire the brandname on the dial, fall in love. Baume & Mercier.
