This was right after I was looking forward to the TT Geophysic and there was no watch to see...then met a buddy for drinks and had his Tangente to see I placed the order not much later. I also appreciate that Nomos contributes to a cause without charging ...

I was just wondering but it certainly looks like Lange is well honored in the state for what he brought to them.

Both for the watch and the cause. The red 12 is truly a cherry on the cake; definitely need to try it on, as you claim the strap is super comfortable, and it always looked not quite so to me (although as I said looked - never tried it on). Which size?

You need to try it on to know I\'ve a preference for smaller sizes with 42mm the absolute max I\'ll go. Typically prefer 37-40mm, but this Tangente has some long lugs and with the very thin bezel, it wears somewhat larger than what it says.

So 35mm is definitely not a problem, just never put it on in a way to test the strap. It really appears quite a bit larger than 35mm would have you believe.

And I think pairing the red "12" with black hands instead of the original blue is a great idea too.

But do you think it would be a little to cliche? I mean, it is the expected combo, I suppose, and it might detract somewhat from allowing this to be an all rounder watch which includes suits and boardrooms. Still toying with the idea. Don\'t have an 18mm ...

It is amazing that every manufacturer is literally down the street from each other. From an employer perspective, I suppose that there must be a very strong identity of the people who work with the different companies or there will be a lot of moving arou... 

I've been looking at these Nomos watches several years ago and I think they are a very nice and appealing offer. I'm glad you shared these pictures with us as I'm sure many fellow purists will be interested in studying them and considering them as a purch... 

Thank you for the compliments. I agree, this is not a watch that there is a lot of information that\'s easily found aside from the press releases and the official pictures. I have an easier time finding stuff on the regular Tangente.

Thanks, my friend. Don\'t know about being on a roll though, but I\'m finding that these simple watches from the independents and small manufacturers have tremendous value propositions attached. Makes me rethink a lot of how and what I buy now
